MACS ProjectMac's Project is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation created to benefit children battling cancer while also keeping our planet healthy through recycling. We are a certified Non-Profit Community Service Program with the California Department of Conservation. The project was designed with two goals in mind. First, we wanted to generate money to help families who have a child being treated for cancer, but we were reluctant to be completely dependent on cash donations. Second, we wanted to do something about the awareness of recycling and show how we can all pitch in to save our planet. By providing people and/or businesses with an easier and more convenient method of recycling and allowing them to help a worthy cause without opening their pocketbooks, we hope to overcome the attitude of - "oh it's too much trouble to recycle". We want to let people know that Mac's Project is dedicated to making a difference in childhood cancer awareness and making a difference in our environment by recycling and we want them to know how easy it can be. We will provide you with containers and we will pick them up when needed.
