movingeast is a growing interdisciplinary centre of excellence in Martial Arts and Contemporary Dance based in a tranquil, light-filled building in Hackney, north east London, with Tetsushinkan Dojo at its heart. Its core ethos is to facilitate the creative development and self-empowerment of individuals through reflection, inquiry, cooperation, respect and self-discipline. The centre is expanding its educational and leadership roles within the local community and operates nationally and internationally.

Monday 7.30 - 8.30 am

Wednesday 7.30 - 8.30 am 7.15 - 9.15 pm

Friday 7.30 - 8.30 am 6.30 - 7.30 pm - free practice (usually no formal teaching) 7.30 - 9.30 pm - usually kenjutsu (sword)

Sunday 6.00 - 8.00 pm

There is a children's class on Wednesdays from 6.00 - 7.00pm for children from 4 years upwards (during term time).
