We also have a Vibrant Interfaith ProgrammeThe Interfaith Department at the ICC started in 2003. The main aim of this activity as described by Dr Ahmad Al -Dubayan, is to promote the message of understanding and respect between Muslim and Non-Muslim communities throughout the UK and Europe. It is here also very important always to help Non-Muslim communities and organizations understand that Islam as a peaceful religion and that we are as Muslims open to dialogue on all matters regarding faith.The Interfaith Department manages many areas such as group visits, training for Non-Muslim Professionals, consultation with Government/Non Government organisations on Race Relations, meetings with the Metropolitan Police on Race relations, lectures and conferences on Islam in Universities, colleges, schools, Churches and Synagogues etc.We receive some 2000 letters, telephone calls, e-mails, faxes and other correspondence every month.
