London is home to well over a million Asians, and many areas of London have a distinctly Asian Feel. The Asian communities are clustered around Asian Areas in London with specific groups in certain areas. You will find the largest concentration of Bangladeshis in Whitechapel, Brick Lane and Kings Cross. Here you will find a proliferation of Asian Restaurants, Shops selling Fabric, Asian Suits and shoes, and Asian Grocers, as well as shops selling Asian Music and DVD's. These are the places to buy Asian Spices and Halal Food Asian Food Asian Food is a mainstay of the British diet with Indian Restaurants being the most popular takeaway. You will find an Indian Restaurant in every high street of London, but to find the most authentic dishes you will have to go to the asian concentrated areas. Asian food is just as diverse as any other regional food. There are a vast difference in the type of dishes you will find in Gujarati Restaurants and Nepalese Restaurants and Punjabi Food is very different to the Bangladeshi run Indian Restaurants you will find throughout London and in particular Brick Lane. Pakistani Food tends to be more meat orientated and there is a difference in the cores spices and ingredients and the methods used for cooking.

Asian Weddings

Asian Weddings are big business in the capital. And no wonder given the huge asian population in London. Most Asian weddings are huge affairs with anything from 500 - 2000 guests.
