The Armenian Community in London has a long history, with the first Armenian immigrants arriving in Manchester in the 19th Century, from Lebanon, Cyprus, Iran and Iraq.. according to Vered Armit's Armenians in London, published in 1989 there where approximately 10,000 Armenians living in London

The main church of British Armenians is the Armenian Apostic Church. There are several churches of this domination in Kensington in London. St Sarkis and the nearby St Yeghiche.
