Should I go to Hospital - Emergency
You should go to your Local A&E if you experience any of the following
* heavy blood loss
* difficulty breathing
* loss of consciousness
* persistent chest pain for 15 minutes or more
* suspected broken bones
* overdose, ingestion or poisoning
If it is at all possible to make your own way to your local A&E then it will save the ambulances for those who may need it more.
A&E units in London are normally very busy and particularly during the evening. And for not critical emergencies there may be a a few hours wait. If you feel it is not Criticial then contact NHS direct for free advice 0845 4647
